Boring

I see by the banner on my blog that there are 302 days til Christmas. This is the boring time. The wait between renewing my Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club membership and receiving the KOC Dream Book seems like forever.

When I called to renew, I asked when the Dream Book will be out. I was told that it will ship between March 18 and April 1. I hope I'm on the March 18th schedule!

So far I have purchased two gifts for Christmas. I do have a list going of gift ideas for some of my family members. I'm also thinking about what I'm going to do for the Twelve Days of Christmas for my folks.

In the meantime, we're busy planning a wedding in our family. We're anticipating a visit from our oldest son and daughter-in-love. We're enjoying our grandkids. We're house hunting.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ornaments!

See what came in the mail this week... Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club renewal form. I wasn't expecting it until the end of the month. I was pleasantly surprised and enthusiastic when I pulled it from the mail slot. My husband was more bemused than anything else.

I'm always excited when the renewal form comes because it means the new Dream Book is not far behind! For the past few years, I have pre-ordered my Hallmark ornaments. I pour through the book over and over marking the ornaments and who I would give them to. I let my kids go through the book and mark the ornaments they would want. I turn in my order to the local store and then sit back to wait.

In July, on ornament preview weekend, I arrive at the store early so I can be one of the first fifty in line to receive a free gift. I pay for and pick up my ornaments, shop around to see what other bargains I can't live without are being offered, and then head home filled with the Christmas spirit!
