Let the Baking Begin!
The weather has finally cooled off here to highs in the 80s and low 90s. The doors and windows to our house are open and the A/C is turned off. I love this time of year!
It's perfect Christmas baking weather...
Well, not really baking. I made candy yesterday. It was a new recipe to me taking from one of my Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. Chocolate Peanut Drops. They are made in the crockpot. It was super easy and they are super delicious!
I have several jars ready to be decorated and handed out to friends and family this holiday season.
Later this week I plan to stir up cookie dough for Christmas cookies and freeze it. Yummy!
