M&M Cookies
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup sifted flour
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup M&Ms

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs & vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda, & salt.
Add dry ingredients gradually to creamed mixture, mix well.
Stir in candies.
Drop by teaspoon on un-greased baking sheet.
Bake @ 375 degrees for approx. 10 minutes.

**NOTE: I do not use salt in my cookies. I use 2 cups of M&Ms, 1 cup of mini size and 1 cup of regular size.

Christmas Eve Shortcut Cinnamon Buns
20 unbaked frozen dinner rolls
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted

Lightly grease a 10 inch bundt cake pan.
Place frozen rolls into the pan and sprinkle with brown sugar, the pudding mix, and cinnamon.
Pour melted butter over the top.
Cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave overnight at room temperature to rise.

In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Bake rolls for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Turn rolls out onto a serving plate.


Christmas Pistachio Bread
18 1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
3.4 oz pkg. instant pistachio pudding mix
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. water
8 oz. container sour cream
1/4 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
Pour into two greased 9"x5"loaf pans; set aside.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle evenly over top, pressing into batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.

Microwave Chocolate Peanut Clusters
Combine 1 c. chocolate morsels and 12 oz. peanut butter morsels
Microwave on  high (adjust according to your microwave strength) until melted
Stir in 12 oz. salted Spanish peanuts
Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper
Let stand until firm
Store in airtight container

These are so easy to make and they are delicious!

Vicki's Green Bean Casserole
2 14 1/2 oz cans Green Beans (Cut or French style), drained
1 14 oz can Bean Sprouts, drained
1 8 oz can sliced Water Chestnuts, drained
1 10 3/4 oz can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 2.8 oz can French Fried Onions

Drain the green beans, bean sprouts, and water chestnuts
Mix together with the soup in a 2 qt. casserole
Top with french fried onions
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour
