Christmas Books

I love Christmas books! I have a fairly large collection of them and look forward each year to adding more. This year I've already purchased three books and am on the lookout for several more.

One of my favorite Christmas authors is Melody Carlson. I know she writes non-Christmas fiction, but I've never read any of them. Her Christmas stories are fun and inspiring.

Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors. I've read her fiction, her non-fiction, and her Christmas stories. She's an author that I run to the bookstore to purchase her new release the day it is published!

I read Christmas books year around, whenever I'm in the mood for a little Christmas spirit!

New Decor

This seems to be the year of snow globes for me. I've found three already. Maybe I have a snow globe collection now! I am so ready to start decorating for Christmas on one hand, but on the other hand I'm really enjoying my fall decor. This year I used a new (to me) plan for decorating. I started at the front of the house and decorated one room at a time. When I ran out of decor, I started a list of things I should buy for next year.

This method worked well for me and I'm going to use it for the Christmas decor also.
